I think he makes a better Republican than a woman......at least we know where the Trump's loyalty lies.

You're not the only one mad at me........I read Kent's blog. Perhaps we went too far.......for whatever reason....I thought he would take it in good humor. What's interesting, his post would have been good posted on our blog. I like his opinion and wouldn't mind someone telling me that I'm acting like madame Coulter...granted, I like speaking my mind about whatever the heck I want and appreciate even more people who have the guts to call me on my crap or give an opposing view..........I like the fact that our blog, no matter how heinous we get, is not one-sided. How much of the arguments we hear on the radio or TV never give the other side? Come to think of it, there's rarely 2 sides to a story.......there's more like 8 or 9 (perhaps 17)........it would be nice if we had a lot more members to this blog.......

The thing I like most about this blog is that I'm able to express myself.......In today's society, we really don't get much opportunity to do that. It's been a nice release for me to vent my frustrations........I'm finding that I'm less mad at the world and while I don't see myself switching to the democratic party (or any other party) anytime soon, at least I'm less afraid of what that would mean.

Can I just say I LOVE free speech.

I know a lot of what we say is idiotic and can offend some people.......But more damage would be done if people didn't say the idiotic things we are so adapt at spewing.

Imagine a nation where every problem was swept under the rug, discarded, or ignored. Here's an example: My dad didn't voice his marital frustrations until after 19 years of marriage.....by then whatever changes he wanted to make were unfixable.

If my uncanny statements do anything......I hope they fight, to some extent, our nation's tendency of being overly politically correct.

For those of you who don't like political discussions......I respect that....I really do. But if you have an opinion, I think it's good to share it; otherwise, the Coulters, Moores, and Limbaughs of the world will continue to shape politics (and consequently--our world) because people won't take time out of their day to argue and express their ideas with eachother.

I think if this nation has any chance of depolarizing......it has to begin with mutual respect and understanding. I don't see this initiating unless it is done among friends. Despite the disagreements between me and my political polar opposite, Josh, I am comforted that whatever I say and write, Josh will still hold me in high regard and respect.....because that's what friends do. I wonder when people--however few--see that Josh and I still get along, they will think that they can do likewise.
