I'm a fan of Rush.

What caused this? The only time I ever listened to Rush was when he practically endorsed Romney. That would be one talk show.

I kept hearing from everybody....don't listen to Rush. He's poison, full of crap, and bad for the country. I believed them.

But then Obama himself goes on a crusade to silence him or have us turn our radios off. My curiosity was peaked. I listened and was at first ashamed. How can I believe what Rush is spouting? Isn't he stupid? Does that make me stupid?

I found myself agreeing with his hopes that Obama doesn't succeed as far as liberal policies go. That would mean Gitmo closure, instability in Iraq, the porkulus bill passing, and other things that I believe aren't good for our country.

But I also want Obama to succeed. I don't look forward to the Great Depression part II and I don't look forward to another terrorist attack. Obama will have my hopes and prayers over the next four years, but Obama's pleas for us to forget what we believe in order to "get things done" doesn't fly with me.

I'm almost proud to be a Republican again.........it's kinda nice being an insurgent and hellraiser. When I start feeling that way, I know our party is doing something right.

Here's to Freedom of Speech!

As a disclaimer........I'm aware people like Rush make a fortune doing what they're doing. Sensationalism sells.

    Staff, I agree with you.

Instead of making Ahmendijhad (however you spell it), Bin Laden, or N. Korea public enemy number on in his first week of office, Obama chose to make Rush his number one enemy.

That goes to tell you how threatened Obama feels from Rush. Whether we like it or not, Rush has a polarizing effect on the extreme ends of opinion. He really does lay things in black and white, not gray and eggshell white.

The Dems hope to convolute the issues with legislation, thusly making it more difficult for the real people to understand clearly what they are trying to do. It is infuriating.

I am also proud to be somewhat insurrect and a boat rocker.

Oooooo! Insurrection! Listening to AM radio! It's almost like a real insurrection. But with ads for the Air Number Mattress and GoldLine!

You sound like teenagers who are excited to be non-conformists and are ready to buy your first anarchy t-shirt at Walmart.

Now you don't even have to do your own thinking. You rebels.

    I give up.

    Josh, you're silly.

Knew we'd get you back on here one way or another.

Good job on sensationalizing our stances by the way..........ever think of running an AM radio show?

I'm glad I don't have to think anymore--one less thing to worry about, ya know? Being a cultist isn't that bad.....after all, I get a lot of free t-shirts and, as an added bonus, I get to hang out with all the teenage conservative rebels.....uhhh, as soon as a find any.

    What did you give up?

I feel bad if you actually had hopes to convert me. Flashbacks of my mission has blessed me with empathy.

Some things I understand where you're coming from if that makes you less frustrated......I still think you're an insane nutter for being a liberal, but don't worry, k? I like the fact that you're flawed. Cheer up Charlie, we're all flawed.

Hold on a second. I don't even have a Wal-Mart in my town!

As a matter of fact the thinking is more free than one might think. As was the case with Bush, Obama is now in the limelight and is being scrutinized. One main difference is those who question Obama are not American or racist, where as with Bush those who didn't question Bush were blinded and close minded.

Just face it, conservatives have a better voice. People are really starting to question what they have done in voting for, " The Enlightened One."

I would think this would be a hay day for you Booker. A little buyers remorse?
