First off, as we all know, there are lies, darn lies, and then there are statistics. Worse than all of the above are polls. Having said that, if this poll has some truth in it things don't look so good for Romney. It appears that he is less likeable than Hillary and even (gasp!) Huckabee!

Ouch!

To quote:

62 percent of those surveyed say they will definitely not vote for the
former Massachusetts governor in the general election, compared with just 13
percent who say they will definitely support him -- the worst showing of any of
the major candidates.

I hate to say it, but there's a lot of idiots in the world.

Here are some of the reasons I've heard why people hate Mitt:

--He's too slick (what does that mean anyways?.....He's too intelligent, well-versed, good-looking.....what?).

--He's among the elite.....you know....a richie. Would we rather have someone who isn't successful? Do we forget the fact that sometimes people actually, gasp, earn their money?

--He's a phoney. I blame the media for this one (and the politicians who capitalize at every turn). The media still claims that he supported gay marriage, that his gun control stances have changed, and that he has supported illegal immigration. What the heck? Anyone who does a little research can find out that Mitt is actually more consistent in his views than most of his opponents.

--He's a Mormon. Paid clergy is the worst thing to hit Christianity.

The comforting thing about this poll is I'm convinced people are speaking out of ignorance. Usually ignorance can heal with education.
