Looks good James. I think that is very telling and indicative of what we have been seeing lately about being in touch with voters, understanding real problems in the real world and having the intelligence to solve problems. To be honest I am a little nervous for today.
Love it! Refer to my comments left a while ago in the "Wish I had something to say" segment.
I am kind of on pins and needles at the moment and can't wait until results start coming in...I hope the polling so far has been as biased as the media!
Not nervous about today........I've accepted the inevitability a long time ago.
In a way, I think a Republican loss might be good for the future of the party. It's time to regroup, shape-up, and do a better job.
It will be interesting what the Dems' platform is going to be. There long-standing agenda has been anti-Bush......now that he's about to leave, they're actually going to have to do something.
Don't count on it...they will just blame Bush for everything that happened and refuse to take any responsibility for anything new...because the problem probably originated when Bush was in office...mark my word. That is the way of the party. I actually heard a democrat say one time, "Monica Lewinsky seduced my president!". I would say that is ultimate "bail out" on responsibility...so I wouldn't expect too much.
If there is a terrorist attack...it will be Bush's fault. If there is a depression...Bush. You name it...it will be Bush's fault. I hate it, but I have dealt with it for more years than I care to count.
I agree that it will be a time of re-grouping and real strategizing for the GOP. They are really going to half to disect this one and figure out where they have gone astray.
I also agree that Bush will be looked at as a scapegoat and everything will somehow be his fault. However, the left wing will really have to start generating their own ideas and policies independent of blaming Bush and that being their primary argument.
How about you?
